’A1’ List
For persons who have previously been approved by the Kennel Club to award CCs in the breed and have completed their first
appointment and who have the support of the Club.
’A2’ List
For persons who fulfil all the requirements for the ’A3’ List and who have been assessed in accordance with the Kennel
Club requirements and accepted by the Kennel Club for inclusion on an ’A2’ List and have the support of the Club.
’A3’ List (Breed Specialist)
For persons with a minimum of seven years’ judging experience in the breed and who have the support of the Club.
To have judged the breed at a minimum of six Open Shows or Championship Shows without CCs with an adequate geographical
spread. To have judged a minimum of 120 Dalmatians in breed classes. It is preferable to have judged at a Breed Club
Show.
To have bred and/or owned a minimum of three dogs when they obtained their first entry in the Kennel Club Stud Book
(save in exceptional circumstances).
Must have stewarded at a minimum of 12 shows.
To have attended a seminar given by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer and passed the relevant examination on Kennel Club
regulations and judging procedures.
To have attended a seminar given by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer on conformation and movement.
To have attended a Conformation and Movement ’Hands On’ Assessment conducted by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer and
passed the assessment.
To have attended at least one Dalmatian specific seminar run in accordance with the relevant Kennel Club code of best
practice and passed an examination and assessment.
Overseas Judges: Must be passed by the relevant governing body for dogs within their Country to award the equivalent of
CCs in Dalmatians. This must be supported by their own country’s Breed Club in writing. Must have stewarded under their
country’s rules at Championship Show level.
’A3’ List (Non-Specialist)
For persons who must have awarded CCs in at least one other breed.
To have a minimum of seven years’ judging experience in any one breed and to have a minimum of five years’ judging
experience in Dalmatians.
To have judged Dalmatians at a minimum of six Open Shows or Championship Shows without CCs with an adequate geographical
spread.
To have judged a minimum of 140 Dalmatians in breed classes. It is preferable to have judged at a Dalmatian Breed Club
Show.
To have bred and/or owned a minimum of three dogs when they obtained their first entry in the Kennel Club Stud Book
(save in exceptional circumstances).
Must have stewarded at a minimum of 12 shows.
Applicants must have attended at least one Dalmatian specific seminar run in accordance with the relevant Kennel Club
code of best practice and passed an examination and assessment.
’B’ List (Breed Specialist)
For persons with a minimum of six years’ experience owning and exhibiting Dalmatians and have the support of the Club.
To have judged a minimum of 40 Dalmatians in breed classes with an adequate geographical spread.
Must have stewarded at a minimum of 6 shows.
To have attended at least one Dalmatian specific seminar OR
To have judged a minimum of 35 Dalmatians in breed classes with an adequate geographical spread.
Must have stewarded at a minimum of 6 shows.
To have attended at least one Dalmatian specific judging seminar
run in accordance with the relevant Kennel Club Code of Best
Practice and passed an examination and assessment.
’B’ List (Non-Specialist)
For persons with a minimum of six years judging experience in any one breed and have the support of the Club.
To have judged a minimum of 40 Dalmatians in breed classes with
an adequate geographical spread.
Must have stewarded at a minimum of 6 shows.
To have attended at least one
Dalmatian specific seminar
OR
To have judged a minimum of 35 Dalmatians in breed classes with
an adequate geographical spread.
Must have stewarded at a minimum of 6 shows.
To have attended at least one
Dalmatian specific judging seminar run in accordance with the
relevant Kennel Club Code of Best Practice and passed an
examination and assessment.
’C’ List (Breed Specialist and Non-Specialist)
For aspiring judges of Dalmatians who have a minimum of five years active involvement with the breed and have the support
of the Club.
