Thank you so much to the Officers and committee of our wonderful club for the invitation to Judge my first Club Open show. I was absolutely thrilled to have received the nomination and even more so to have an entry of 130 (148). Thank you also to all exhibitors who brought their pride and joy along for me to judge, all of which displayed impeccable temperaments on the day and all presented the expected correct scissor bite. Lastly but definitely not least, may I thank my 2 fantastic stewards Donald Young and Emma Williamson who did such a Great job keeping me straight, sorting seen dogs, and the classes flowing.

Minor Puppy Dog, 4 Entries / 0 Absent.
1st Green & Seers, Mrs J S & Mrs J A, Shydally Golden Star Over Judally,
8 month old Black spotted male. Lovely start to the day, this nicely decorated young man of correct size performed admirably. Nice front and depth of chest for his age, with balanced angulation front and rear. Good head and length of neck to well defined withers. Level topline which he carries effectively when moving. Well schooled. Moved positively with plenty of drive.
2nd Story-Taylor, Mr S & Miss T, Bayonspark Zeus at Kesteven,
6 month old Black spotted male. Another attentive puppy, well balanced. Nice dark spotting on a perfectly white background. Lovely tight cat-like feet, moved well, just not as settled as one.
3rd Richardson, Mrs C & Mr A, Portunes St Jimmy.

1st Whincup, Mr K & Mrs D L, Tamilanda Vintage Gold,
11 month old Liver spotted male. Quality throughout, this Puppy oozed confidence in the ring. Strong head and good length of neck to well laid back shoulders and level topline. Lovely Liver decoration on a clean white coat. Good front and spring of rib, correct tail set and great angulation. Muscular but not overdone in any way. Powerful, rhythmic movement, delighted to award him Best Puppy Dog and later on Best Puppy in Show.
2nd Wilkins, Ms K, Salvadorada King of Hearts, 11 month old Black spotted male. Nice head and length of neck, level topline and great rear angulation. Well decorated and has lovely dark eyes. Preferred tail set of one. Moved well, at one with his handler.

1st Cleasen, Miss S & Dr J R, Dalstorm Just Jiving, 17 month old Black spotted male. Good overall balance, with level topline and correct tail set. Nice front and depth of chest. Good bend of stifle and tight feet. Steady mover.
2nd Cattermole, Mr C & Mrs J, Hafwenna Dumbledores Army for Kalvadene, 1 year old Liver spotted male. Nicely decorated. Longer in couple than one, good tail set and tight feet. Moved ok.
3rd Talbot, Miss F, Indysdream Summersknight.

Yearling Dog, 6 Entries / 2 Absent.
1st Dinsdale, Mrs D, Dotlun Apache Running Bear JW, 21 month old Liver spotted male. Such a Lovely head and kind expression with well carried ears. Very refined and elegant. Good length of neck to well defined withers. Strong topline into correct tail set. Front not overdone, and overall picture was a balanced one. His movement today was rhythmical and powerful. Delighted to award him Reserve Best Dog.
2nd Bickerdike, Mr I J, Jaxsondal Crème de la Crème at Koroyza, 22 month old Liver spotted male. Another handsome young man in great condition. Lovely decoration and well-muscled, with nicely developed second thigh. Shorter in couple than one but correctly proportioned. Moved with freedom, he has obviously been well schooled, so attentive to his handler.
3rd Moss, Miss N L & Mrs L E, Sadiedel Let Ur Heart Decide JW.

Novice Dog, 5 Entries / 0 Absent.
1st Hobbs & Whiting, Miss C & Ms M, Joubello Freedom with Rapanooey, 10 month old Black spotted male. Heavily spotted with ultra dark pigmentation, this young man is developing nicely for his age. Good depth of chest and well sprung rib. Performed admirably today. Moved with power and drive, one to watch for the future.
2nd Burke, Miss F A, Hafwenna The Red Viper at Dintradot, 2 year old Black spotted male. When settled this well spotted boy pushed for 1st in this class, but he made his handler work for it. Nice head and good length of neck to a lovely level topline and correct tail-set. Good balanced angulation. Another nice mover but just preferred the drive of one.

1st Goddard & Barry, Mr I & Miss E, Dalberry That Boy Is Mine, 2 year old Liver spotted male. Nicely spotted with Dark pigment, strong masculine head and well arched neck down to level top line which flows to a well decorated tail which is correctly set. Displayed a sound flowing movement.
2nd Cattermole, Mr C & Mrs J, Hafwenna Dumbledores Army for Kalvadene (See 2nd in Junior Dog)

1st Cuthbertson, Mr A & Mrs M, Kalsidoni Blue Gemstone JW
, 2 year old Black spotted male. One that I have admired for some time, appealing head of good dimensions, nice length of neck to well defined withers and level top line. Good front and depth of chest, well angled fore and aft with good turn of stifle. Kept his handler on his toes today, but never stopped wagging, moved well with plenty of drive.
2nd Wootton, Mrs E, Tolkain Caliban, 3 year old Black spotted male. Nice head and length of neck to level topline which he carried whilst on the move. Preferred front of one but overall balanced, which showed in his powerful movement.
3rd French, Mr M & Mrs L, Tamilanda Instant Envy.

1st Wright, Miss J M, Millbelle Thunderfire JW, 2 year old Liver spotted male. Pleasant head shape and size, good length of neck to well laid back shoulders. Nice forechest and plenty of heart and lung room within his deep chest. Impressive profile on the stand, spoilt only a fraction with his lack of tail animation. Wow, can this boy move… Powerful, rhythmic with plenty of reach and drive.
2nd Baker, Miss S, Kelevra Chive Talking with Dalleaf JW, 2 year Black spotted male. Another Quality young man, elegant head and good length of neck to defined withers and impressive top line which he carries at all times. Lovely dark pigmentation on a perfect white background. Yet again a fabulous mover, only just preferred the drive of one.
3rd Williams & Tanswell, Mr K & Ms C, Tolkain Storm King from Phadante JW.

1st Croft, Ms R, Koroyza Viking Voyager, 3 year Liver spotted male. This perfectly decorated, attentive gentleman impressed from the off today. Strong, masculine head of correct proportions with well carried ears. Good length of neck to well laid back shoulders and level top line. Lovely front, depth of chest and fantastic angles fore and aft. He appeared so efficient on the move and looked like he could maintain that powerful drive all day. Absolutely thrilled to award him Best Dog, Best Liver Dog , Reserve Best in Show, and Best Opposite Sex.
2nd Whincup, Mr K & Mrs D L, Tamilanda Air Force One, 5 year Black spotted male. Another very impressive performance, that could easily swap places with 1st on any other given day. Lovely spotted with nice dark pigment. Elegant, handsome head framed with correct ear carriage. Nicely arched neck of good length leading to level top line and correct tail set. Great front to rear symmetry. Perfectly manicured tight cat like feet. Steady and rhythmical on the move, preferred the drive of 1st. Happy to award Best Black Dog.

1st Sims, Miss J, Ch Mullabuoy Magic Man for Snowspeeder JW, 7 year old Black spotted male. One that I have admired for some time now and enjoyed his journey to becoming a veteran, and he didn't disappoint today. An elegant, focussed, Nicely decorated boy with a well proportioned head and a friendly expression. Good length of neck to well defined wither. Nice front and depth of chest, and perfectly balanced fore and aft. Moved with great drive and purpose. Pleased that he was my Best Veteran Dog.
2nd Finlay, Mrs A & Mr M, Dalfin Actual Fact ShCEx, 7 year old Black spotted male. Obviously enjoying his day, he didn't stop wagging for the entire class. Not over exaggerated in any way, pleasant head with kind expression and good length of neck. Moderate angles front and rear but nicely balanced. Well spotted with dark pigment including a lovely spotted tail. Good extension and power on the move.

1st Vockings, Mr M S Mrs E J & Miss H, Portunes Whatsername, 7 month old Liver spotted female. This young lady was a right handful today, certainly enjoying her day but making her very able handler work for her placing. When settled her quality was there to see… Fabulously dark liver spotting on a lovely white background. Nice feminine head with a sweet expression, good length of neck to a level topline and correct tail set. Perfectly settled and steady on the move and shows very high potential for the future.
2nd Moss, Page, Page & Page, Miss N, Mrs K, Mr I & Miss C L, Winflash Valentina, 6 month old Black spotted female. This well handled youngster performed admirably today. She has moderate angulation and a pleasantly symmetrical outline, with a correct tail set and tight cat like feet. Lovely rhythmical movement.
3rd Davies, Miss T T, Maddidalli Auroras Heart.

1st Donnelly, Mr S P & Mrs M D M, Tamilanda Golden Leaf, 11 month old Liver spotted female. Loved this puppy, with nice dark Liver pigmentation, sweet feminine head with dark amber eyes and correctly carried ears. Nice length of neck to withers and a level topline which she carried constantly. Lovely angulation front and back, to the rear nice turn of stifle and well defined hocks. Moved with ease with a flowing action, so pleased to award Best Puppy (B) and was very close to pushing for Best Puppy in Show but was unfocussed in the final challenge.
2nd Alexander & Collier, Mrs J & Miss I, Offordale Jazz, 10 month old Black spotted female. Another lovely puppy with a nice head and kind expression, good angulation fore and aft just preferred the substance of one. Moved with pace, with a nice steady action.
3rd Tillson, Mrs E B, Tamilanda Rose Gold at Elabri.

1st Sampson, Dr E & Mr W, Dalstorm Just Waltzing JW, 17 month old Liver spotted female. Nice head with moderate stop, good length of neck to well defined withers and level top line. Correct tail set which finishes her profile nicely when animated. Lovely angulation fore and aft. Sound on the move with a steady rhythmic action and she clearly enjoyed the ample sized ring.
2nd Healey, Healey, Wheaton & Gardinor, Mr C, Mrs A E, Miss L & Miss T, Hebemor Careless Whisper from Dakata, 18 month old Liver spotted female. Nice feminine head of correct proportions and lovely amber eyes. Moderate angulation and tight cat like feet. Preferred substance of one. Moved well.

1st Hurst, Mrs A & Mr K, DvoJica Firefly for Finnidal JW, 21 month old Black spotted female. Well decorated with nice dark, dense spotting. Attractive feminine head framed with correctly held ears. Good length of neck to well defined withers and level top line. Lovely front and depth of chest. Nice and symmetrical in profile. Moved with drive.
2nd Bridge, Meyer & Britton, Ms L H, Ms E A & Mr G, Akoni Buttery D'or, 20 month old Black spotted female. Nice feminine head with flat skull and moderate stop. Good length of neck and depth of chest. Overall balanced angulation with adequate fore chest. Moved well.
3rd Robbins & Hensman, Miss V & Mr M, Salvadorada Jalapeno Girl at Palouse JW.

Novice (B), 8 Entries / 2 Absent.
1st Vockings, Mr M S Mrs E J & Miss H, Portunes Whatsername (See 1st in MPB) Was unplaced in Puppy (B) as completely unsettled, but settled beautifully for this class and moved with grace and drive.
2nd Tillson, Mrs E B, Tamilanda Rose Gold at Elabri, 11 month old Liver spotted female. Another stunning puppy from this fabulous litter. Perfectly decorated with a lovely dark pigmentation. Feminine head with well set ears, good length of neck to a well carried level topline. Lovely front, and balanced angulation front and rear. Nice rhythmic movement, just preferred movement of 1st but could've easily changed places.
3rd Penn, Mrs M L & Mr A J, Dalarisa Spring In Her Step.

1st Collier, Mr, Mrs & Miss, Kallierbelle Pink Sapphire, 6 year old Black spotted female. Soon to be a Veteran, she is still very fit for purpose. Nice correctly-proportioned head with kind expression and good length of neck to well-defined withers. Lovely front and depth of chest. Good angulation and amply muscled. Very attentive and beautifully handled. Fabulous mover with bags of stamina and plenty of drive.
2nd Jenkins & Ridgeway, Miss S & Mrs S, Luccombe Strawberry Ripple, 2 year old Liver spotted female. Lovely feminine head with amber eye, good length of neck to level topline. Longer in couple than one, but presents a well-balanced profile. Nice front and capacious ribcage. Good angulation fore and aft, and tight cat-like well manicured feet. Very focused, at one with her handler, moved with power and drive.
3rd Tingey, Mrs H & M R S, Dallyador White Magnolia JW.

1st Pace, Miss N, Sadiedel's Arab Girl JW, 22 month old Black spotted female. Perfectly spotted young lady that was enjoying her day, never stopped wagging. Nice head with a pleasant expression framed with well set on ears. Lovely length of neck to level topline and correct tail set. Good length-to-height ratio, and pleasing angulation. Powered round the ring on the move, which really catches the eye.
2nd Cattermole, Mr C & Mrs J, Jasquarella Ice Queen of Kalvadene, 4 year old Black spotted female. Lovely kind expression and dark eye, this nicely decorated girl performed admirably. Good length of neck to defined wither and level top line. Moderate angles and good overall size. Moved with an outstanding fluid action.
3rd Robbins & Hensman, Miss V & Mr M, Salvadorada Honolulu Honey at Palouse JW.

1st Neath-Coyne & Coyne, Mrs S A & Mr S, Kelevra Pickle my Fennel with Buffrey JW Swiss JCH, 2 year Liver spotted female. This lovely girl caught my attention from the second she entered the ring, she exudes confidence and style. Attractive feminine head with kind expression and amber eyes. Perfect length of neck to well defined withers and level top line (which she carried at all times), to correct tail set. With moderate angulation and accurate overall size, she painted a well balanced picture. On the move she excelled, she powered around the ring with determined purpose, she displayed both drive and grace. Extremely delighted to award her Best (B), Best Liver (B), Best Liver in Show and Best in Show.
2nd Foster, Mrs L, Perdita's Tomorrowland JW ShCEx OSW, 3 year old Black spotted female. Took time to settle, but when she did, she excelled… Another of such high quality. Pretty head with sweet expression. Nicely arched neck to well laid back shoulder. Nice front and rear angles with overall balance on display. Beautifully spotted on a pristine white coat. Her movement was effortless with a long striding smooth action, but slightly preferred movement of first. Considered for RBB.
3rd Moss, Mrs L E, Winflash Mirage.

1st Whincup, Mr K & Mrs D L, Tamilanda Instant Star JW, 3 year old Black spotted female. Lots to like about this girl. Well decorated with dense black pigmentation. Good head of correct measurements, nice long, strong neck to well laid back shoulders. Lovely fore chest and spring of rib, she looks nicely muscled and powerful. Smooth and rhythmic movement which allowed coverage of the ground with ease. Also considered for top honours.
2nd Collier, Mr, Mrs & Miss, Kallierbelle Ceithir JW, 3 year old Black spotted female. Lighter spotted but still nicely marked. Balanced angulation, good depth of chest. Well schooled, bit of a handful at times, but expertly handled and very attentive. Moved with ease and plenty of drive.
3rd Sampson, Dr E & Mr W, Tyrodal Seven Of Nine at Dalstorm.

1st Jenkins & Ridgeway, Miss S & Mrs S, Luccombe Strawberry Kisses VW, 9 year old Black spotted female. I've followed this elegant lady since she was a puppy, and she didn't disappoint today. Lovely head with a pretty appearance, good length of neck to well defined withers, level top line and correct set on tail. Nice front and depth of chest and beautifully angled throughout. Still looking fit for purpose, she didn't hesitate to power around the ring and I dare say she could've gone all day. So very happy to award Best Veteran (B), Reserve Best (B) and Best Veteran in Show.
2nd Neath-Coyne & Baker, Mrs S-A & Miss A, Ch Buffrey Hanky Panky by Dalleaf JW, 8 year Black spotted female. Another Veteran in great condition. Nice head, good length of neck into we laid back shoulders. Level top line, prefer tail set of one, Lovely overall profile. Moved with great steady action.
3rd Gardner, Dr W J E & Mrs J M, Ch Dvojica Chilli Chutney for Wrendragge JW.

1st Tingey, Mrs H & Mr R S, Dallyador The Enchanteress JW, 10 year old Liver spotted female. As always, it's lovely to see the oldies still loving their show lives as was the case throughout this class. This Pleasant veteran is in great solid condition, nicely spotted and fully fit. Strong head and good length of neck to level top line. Moved with plenty of drive and vigour.
2nd Healey, Mr C & Mrs A E, Dalmark The White Witch at Hebemor, 10 year old Liver Female. Another beautifully spotted girl in fabulous condition. Well bodied and firm with good angulation fore and aft. Moved with a graceful action, looked as though she could go all day, just preferred drive of one.
3rd Hartley & Griffiths, Mrs F C T & Mr J M, Creaganbrec Glory Be at Miragua.
