Breed Appreciation Day (BAD) 10am 19.10.2019
The Club is to hold a Breed Appreciation Day (BAD) in line with the Kennel Club’s Judges’ Competency Framework (JCF). The event is to be held on Saturday, 19th October at the Village Hall, Ryton on Dunsmore, Coventry CV8 3EY.
The day will consist of a talk on the Breed Standard given by Dr John Stevenson, followed by a Multiple Choice Examination.
Eligibility for the examination is for those candidates who have either already been approved to award CCs in a breed or for candidates who do not award CCs in any breed and who have fulfilled the current JCF entry level 1 criteria as follows -
• A proven interest of a minimum of 5 years in one or more aspects of the breeding and exhibiting of pedigree dogs.
• To have undertaken 6 full days of stewarding.
• Completed and passed the KCA Stewarding multiple choice exam.
• Attended a KC Requirements of a Dog Show Judge seminar and passed the exam.
• Passed the KC Points of a Dog assessment.
• Attended a KC Conformation and Movement seminar
• Completed and passed KCA online critique seminar and multiple choice exam.

Anyone wishing to attend the Breed Standard talk only is welcomed.
The event will commence at 10.00 with registration.
The cost for the Breed Standard Talk and Multiple Choice Examination is £25 and for the Breed Standard Talk only is £10, both to include a light lunch.
