My partner went out and left Rocky to his own devices for only the 2nd time since we've had him ( 6 months old ) but forgot her handbag was out and he got hold of it . He's managed to consume some Ibuprofen ( we don't know how many ) and this was a few hours ago , I've rushed him to the vets and they induced vomiting . They've kept him in overnight and maybe over the weekend , he's on fluids and a charcoal diet and he's having a blood test tomorrow . I hope he's going to be ok Sad

Fingers crossed for him, it's so easy to do. I had to have mine taken to the vet recently because they stole chocolate. Let us know how he is.

Fingers crossed. If they vomit it back within an hour of ingestion the outlook is generally okay, so let's hope he ate it later rather than sooner.

THANK GOD he's ok . The vet said that we managed to get there early enough and we were VERY lucky The blood test showed absolutely normal and they were happy to let Rocky home He's now resting on the sofa ( not normally allowed but today I don't care ) feeling sorry for himself , now..... to have a word about this handbag Smile

Thank goodness. If it's any help mine are 4 and 9 and still empty my bag regularly. I have learned to put medications in a zip compartment. This is because about 2 years ago they managed to steal a pack of extra strong mints.

Funnily enough (not at the time!), Lilly did the eaxct same thing with a packet from my handbag when she was 14 months!

Same outcome thank god! Now bag is always zipped up and all drugs in a high cupboard...behind a baby gate!

Glad Rocky is OK Smile
