I spotted this on Cooper this morning, and before I possibly over panic and rush him to the vets (he had an inguinal hernia in that area when he was a pup), anyone any ideas what it is?
It's down by his man bits, the little black bit is sticking out of the skin and the lump is sort of a blue colour.
I thought it was a tick at first but it seems to wrong way around.

I've not seen anything like it but I wonder if it's a bite or sting? Does it irritate him? I think if he's OK it may be worth leaving a day or two but If it doesn't go it would be worth getting him checked. _________________ Valerie, Cassie and Alfred the Great |

Could it be a splinter with a little puss behind maybe? _________________ Carol and Daisy X |

May also be an ingrown hair, with a small infection behind it.
Any signs of increasing irritation or swelling etc, then best to get it checked out by the vet. _________________ Diamonds may be a girl's best friend, but I'd rather have a DALMATIAN!!!
