DALMATIANS

Firstly, thank you to the Officers and Committee for the invitation to judge. I thoroughly enjoyed my day. My thanks go also to my stewards whose efficiency and organisational skills were second to none. Lastly, thank you all for bringing your Dalmatians under me. The cold, damp conditions and the noise from the adjacent ring seemed to unsettle some of the dogs today, but in the main I was met with happy, outgoing Dalmatians. It has been five years since I judged both sexes and I was pleased to find some top quality dogs and bitches, although there is definitely room for improvement in fronts and tail carriage and a number of the dogs in particular, I felt, were overlong.
