Bournemouth Report

A good entry for a weekday. Found them challenging, too many light eyes and low set tails, very disturbing after 45 years to have to withhold in one class.

MPD (2, 1)

1 Thorne's Spotiray Billy Elliot Of Castleton. 8 mths, very balanced in body and scores for size, good for bone and feet, movement was sound if a little erratic, just needs time to get his act together.

PD (3)

1 Alexander's Offordale Griffin. Clear, defined spotting with excellent pigment on this black. Good head and eyes, well made front and rear, used himself well on the move, particularly going away. BP .
2 Thorne's Spotiray Bill Elliot Of Castletop.

JD
 (5)

1 Cobb's Kalokairie's Carbon Copy. Smart youngster who handles well, good spotting, very good bone and feet, stylish on the move where he scored over the others here. Would prefer him a shade shorter as he stands over a lot of ground.
2 Wheaton's Buffrey The Last Word At Acinonyx. Not as forward in body as winner but scores in neck and shoulders, not quite as positive behind as winner.
3 Hopkin's Rapanooey Red Rose.

YD
(4)

1 Hernandez's Dalminshi Starlight Express. This dog scores in head, eye and expression, well made front and good balance to body, enough angulation behind and used himself on the move.
2 Whincup's Tamilanda Midnight Lilly JW. Well made male, just preferred the expression of winner. Excellent bone and feet, deep, well made body, very sound steady mover.
3 Wheaton's Buffrey The Last Word At Acinonyx.

ND
(3)

1 Hopkin's Rapanooey Red Rose. Stylish and shows promise, liked his size and overall balance, tail is a little low set which spoils his outline but that said, he moves well fore and aft.
2 Halfacree & Barry's Kalkokarie Crowd Pleaser. Masculine, clear spotting, falls away over the croup and a little proud of his tail, but sound action.

GD  (3)

1 Cobb's Kalokairie's Carbon Copy.
2 Halfacree & Barry's Kalkokarie Crowd Pleaser.
3 Pace's Big Addo.

PGD
(4)

1 Croft & Cobb-McGill's Kalokairie's Bullet Proof. Dark liver boy, nice head but would prefer slightly darker eye, good overall balance, excellent shoulders, bone and feet, strong hindquarters, good on the move.
2 Halfacree & Barry's Kalkokarie Crowd Pleaser.
3 Forrest's Elabri Esprit Horizon At Spotswood.

LD
 (6)

1 Alexander's Offordale Picasso. Won on overall outline and body properties, good neck and shoulders, good depth to body and strong quarters, nice tail set and good mover both ways.
2 Donnelly's Tamilanda Berry ice Lilly. Very fluid free mover, excellent pigment, bone and feet, needs to drop in body a little.
3 Hopkin & Hobbs' Rapanooey Rasputin.

OD (8)
Good class.

1 Page, Page & Page's Winflash Hugo Boss. This dog was on top form, like his head, eye and expression, excellent front, bone and feet, topline and tail set are first rate and he scores in hindquarters, outmoved the other males. I had no hesitation in awarding him his first CC.
2 Neath-Duggan & Baker's Ch Buffrey Incognito By Dalleaf JW.
Close up, always liked this male, a real glamour boy with a lovely head and eye, just feel he needs more time to blow his ribs and mature. RCC.
3 Whincup & Sibson's Ch Tamilanda Vintage Pink JW.

MPB
(2)

1 Withheld. I felt dreadful having to withhold, but unfortunately one refused to be handled and the other was completely untypical. I thank the two exhibitors for accepting my decision so sportingly.

PB (3)

1 Carrick & Carrick's Tessmene Sweet Violet. Well made yet feminine, liked her forehand, bone and feet, strong body with firm topline and good tail set, well made quarters, steady mover.
2 Littler's Dalmark The Kir Royale. Pretty liver, not the front assembly of winner but moved out well, just needs time.
3 Salter's Brentorview Aurora.

JB
(6, 1)

1 Lamb's Dalpetro Diamond. Took my eye and shows much promise, lovely head, eye and expression, presents a lovely outline, strong body and topline, good tail, excellent action fore and aft, should have a bright future.
2 Neath-Duggan & Baker's Buffrey Hanky Panky By Dalleaf. Looks good stacked and handles well, very good mover and close up, just preferred the expression of winner.
3 De Rozario, Webb & Chrystal's Jemblewood Jelly Bean (Ikc).

YB
(8, 2)

1 Cuthbertson's Ellemstra Little Mix With Kalsidoni. Another lovely youngster, good head and expression, very full of herself and can appear wide in front, but on handling this is not the case, excellent mover, another with a bright future.
2 Harrison-Stratford's Dalminshi Dark Dakota At Dalkereve JW. Looks the part when stacked, good neck and shoulders, lovely spotting, good quarters, used well, not so good in front today and coat let her down.
3 Dodds & Pearson's Dalcarla Gladys Knight.

NB
 (1)

1 Finch & Bonner's Sophtspot Hocus Pocus At Dalticino. Tall elegant bitch with good bone and feet, moved out well both ways.

GB  (3, 1)

1 Whincup's Tamilanda Pick-a-Lilly JW. Strong, well made black, good balance to body, good for bone and feet, very good reach in front and strong behind, looked good in profile.
2 Finch & Bonner's Sophtspot Hocus Pocus At Dalticino.

PGB
(8, 1)

1 Stevenson's Macula Moonlight Mystique JW. Very good bitch to handle, balanced head with good neck and shoulders, deep, well made body and strong hindquarters, excellent mover which tipped the balance, tail is a little low set.
2 Cooper's Charmindals Pussy Galore. Very stylish and takes the eye, good outline and topline, strong quarters but not the freedom of movement of winner.
3 Brennan's Daymadals In The Mood JW.

LB
(10, 1)

1 Wilkinson's Gwynmor High Five To Hunacres JW (Imp). Very stylish black, beautiful spotting. Nice head, would prefer slightly darker eye and stronger front, that said, she is a very good mover and has quality stamped right through. Am sure her third CC will not be long in coming.
2 Page, Page & Page's Winflash Prada Candy Kiss. Elegant bitch, must to like, just felt she was a little light in body, very good mover.
3 Tingey's Dallyador The Enchantress JW.

OB
(4, 1) Very good class, could have given any a CC.

1 Dodds & Pearson's Ch & Ir Ch Kelevra Classic Cliche JW ShCM. Beautiful bitch on top of her game, love her head and eye, front assembly first rate, body and topline bang on, good tail set and quarters, free, effortless mover, could not be denied CC and BOB and Group 3.
2 Page, Page & Page's Ch Winflash Born To Be Wild JW.
Another good one, has the elegance and substance needed, clean neck and shoulders, good body, not quite as steady in front as winner. RCC.
3 Christie's Ch Sophtspot Glitterati JW.

VB
(5, 1)

1 Thorner's Ch Tolutim Drambuie ShCM. Looked good, still has a lovely outline, clean neck and shoulders, firm topline, excellent on the move.
2 Dore's Ch Daldior Ace Of Diamonds JW. Not as good in front as winner, but excellent hind action from a well made body.
3 Ely's Wintermine Flamenco.
