ECDC Show

The ECDC show will be held in August

The ECDC show (followed by an International the next day) should be of interest to the more adventurous members of the BDC. The committee of the ECDC is working on a "package" for that weekend which will include advice on where to stay etc. but meanwhile, anyone who wants to make that trip abroad better get his/her skates on as the dog's anti-body level must be measured 6 months before entry into mainland Europe and one month after the rabies vaccination.

There will be two shows and a variety of other Dalmatian related activities organised this year by the Belgian Dalmatian Club in the city of Mechelen. Both shows will be held at the Nekkar Hall. The program so far is as follows: Friday 19th August. The biennial meeting of the ECDC delegates followed by a number of lectures which are open to all. Saturday 20th August. The ECDC Championship Club Show. Judging Dogs- Charles Cyopik (Canada): Judging Bitches- Eva Burg (USA). These are two very experienced Dalmatian judges. BIS Judge will be Mrs Van Gelderen Parker (Netherlands)who has been closely associated with the Belgian Dalmatian Club since it was founded in 1962. Sunday 21st August. An International All Breeds Show (CAC/CACIB). The same judges but with the sexes reversed i.e. Eva Burg will judge dogs and Charles Cyopik will judge the bitches. More details will soon be available but if your potential winners haven't yet got their PET PASSPORTS you must HURRY.
