Hi all,

We are tentatively starting to think about getting dalmatian number 2 in spring of 2015 and it got me to thinking about names! We have Kia and we named her after we'd chosen her........ Not after a car may I add!! Smile we had been to New Zealand and the mountain parrots were called Kia's and we liked the link with our travels!

So what are yours all called?

Mandy x

Mine’s called Nada. It’s a Croatian name (Croatian because of the Dalmatia Coast), and it means “Hope.”

My two are Dylan and Bella. I was just about to move back to Wales when I got Dylan and wanted a Welsh name for him. I adopted Bella from a local rescue where she was called Fenella, so I changed it slightly to Bella. Previous Dallies were Robbie, Meg and Chloe.

There is a Dally in my village called Stripes which was named by the children of the family. It always makes me smile when I hear her owner calling her but he always looks slightly embarrassed. Laughing Laughing

I have a Milo and a lizzy. I work around a theme in the way that my dalmatians names can not have more than 2 parts (Mi-lo), Li-zzy, ... easy to call them...
They names have to be people names (no typical dog names as max, pongo, rex, perdi, lady, ...)
And finally, I want to use every letter of the alphabet. So far, I've had a Cian, Milo and lizzy, so the C, M & L are excluded for next names.
The dog names also have to go well together...

My next female will probably be called Jemma and my next male wil be Toby...

Other possible names on the board are:
abby/Alissia/Alex
britta/BRADLEY
cara
d
emma/ Esmé/ Ellis
fay farah freya
guess gucci
h
i
jemma/Jill
kiwi/ Kim/KOBE/Kito
lily/Lina/leonora
mango
nala/NIELS
o
p
q
rina/ROBBIE
scapa
t/TOBY
u/UDO
vida
w
x
y
zara
