My Mum has had to have her much loved Esther PTS this morning she became ill last week but deteriorated over the weekend she would of been 12 in January
Mum also lost another much loved dally Abby earlier on in the year from heart problems and she passed away on a walk with us. Very sad time for every one. Mum isn't going to have any more but she will have my two to visit, and walk with when she wants to, my 2 gave Mum big licks when she got back from the vets this morning.
Both will be missed
Run free Esther and play with Abby at the Rainbow bridge |

Hi RubySkye
I was just wondering how your Mum is doing?
She obviously will still miss Esther terribly.
I bet it's worse with the run up to Christmas.
It's six months since we lost our Kacey and dosn't seem right she won't be here.
She absolutely LOVED Christmas.
Please give her our best wishes. _________________ Carol and Daisy X |

Hi Spotalot thank you so much for asking
Mum is OK but, she is missing her two very much especially loosing two within 6 months of each other she is walking with me when she wants to, and there is still plenty of tears when she talks about them and me too. she's not sure what to do next she said that she doesn't miss looking after the dogs but, she misses the company.
My dad keeps looking on the welfare at the dogs but they go to Thailand for 4 weeks in the new year so she is going to make her mind up in the spring on what she is going to do and that will give her quite a few months to see if she wants to have another dog or not.
We will all be with them for Christmas my family 4 and 2 dogs my sister 4 and 1 great dane and we all stay the night so its not going to be a quiet Christmas for mum and dad, but she did say that she will miss walking the dogs on Christmas morning and we all walk together on boxing day
thanks for thinking about us hope you have good Christmas
Happy New year

Hi Kay,
I do feel for them I can still tear up for Kacey so I can't imagine what it's like to lose two so close together, especially if her head is saying no more but her heart says different.
I sort of feel that Daisy should be my last pup, but maybe welfare would be a good option.
Glad she will have a full house over Christmas I'm sure that will help.
Hope you all have a good time and Happy new year to you as well.
Carol
