Me, Gail and Oswald would be up for it, can't make the 14th, but the 21st should be fine.

Derby or Nottingham would be fine for us Very Happy

Yeay all,
Does anyone have a suggestion as to place?
Otherwise I'll probably suggest Robin's Wood just south of Derby or Blidworth in Nottingham.

What time is good for everyone? 11ish?

To anyone that hasn't been before, You do need wellies or good walking boots as it can get extremely muddy.

Here is a link to a map for it http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=Swarkestone+Bridge,+Stanton+by+Bridge+DE73+7,+United+Kingdom&daddr=%2B52%C2%B0+50'+3.86%22,+-1%C2%B0+28'+24.44%22+(52.834406,+-1.473455)&geocode=FTJkJgMdDNbp_ymXM-d0Yfp5SDGqCIaMx1J8-g;&hl=en&mra=pe&mrcr=0&sll=52.841767,-1.461783&sspn=0.034891,0.07699&ie=UTF8&ll=52.843372,-1.462984&spn=0.034889,0.07699&t=h&z=14 Aaarrrr I cant get it to work properly. If you copy and paste the whole link it shows you

If coming from the A50 way, you go past the Crewe & Harper pub which will be on your right hand side, onto the bridge and take the 2nd right turning straight after the hump bit of the bridge (1st right is immediately after the pub - don't take that one), follow that country road for about a mile, take the second left (you'll know your at the right place because the junction is in the shape of a Y that you are turning into) along a narrow road, on your right you will see a grass verge where people park just before a driveway to a house on the right and almost opposite a gate into a field.

If coming the other direction to Swarkestone Bridge, you need to go all the way over the bridge, and take the left turning just before you reach the hump bit, then directions are the same.

The 21st at 11am is great for us.

How long roughly is the walk?

I can't remember exactly how long we are there for usually, but its over an hour (possibly about 2 once we've all met up, got chattting and worked our way around the walk).
Gill do you agree?

If I am on my own (bit of a power walker) I usually get round in an hour, but your right Liz, when a group of us we usually take a couple of hours.

And want to reiterate for anyone coming that hasnt been before, trainers just won't cut it. Dog and humans get extremely muddy (especially with the bad weather we have been having) so wellies are a must.
