Our now 16 month old male Dalmatian tore ligaments in his left shoulder last November. Our vet originally diagnosed bicipital tendonitis and treated him with Steroid/anti inflammatory injections into the joint with some success but the lameness eventually returned. He then referred us for arthroscopy which showed the ligament damage and he was subsequently treated with physiotherapy. After 8 long months of treatment and lead only exercise he seemed sound but has now become lame again after controlled off lead exercise. Does anyone have experience of a similar injury and can offer any advice? Thankfully he is insured!
