hello all
we have a 10mth old Bitch who getting good now loves people and other dogs some dont like her but she is learning lol ... going to be reading posts and picking up tips etc .. good site thanks |

You mentioned on the photo that you'd be interested in showing. We just started showing Flekk and it's quite good fun!
I'm sure the experienced people here could tell you how to get started. There's also some information on the Kennel Club site that we found helpful: http://www.thekennelclub.org.uk/item/265
At our first show, we had no idea what to do, never having been to a dog show before but Flekk's breeders were there and two of his sisters, so they helped us along and we had a good time. Then we went to BUBA and were on our own and had a disaster of a time. But then we went to LKA and that was better, so I guess there are good days and bad days at shows

Hello and welcome to you and Pearl. Do come on and tell us a bit about her. If you are thinking of showing her then suggest you go along to ringcraft and also try to get to some shows without her so you cna check out what happens. It is, as Ann says, a bit overwhelming at first if you don't know what you are doing, but most people are pretty friendly and you'll soon get the hang of it.
