according to the site your avatar needs to be smaller than 80 x 80 pixels and a files size smaller than 6 kb
you can use something like vso image resizer
http://www.obviousidea.com/windows-software/light-image-resizer/
but tbh the best way to show off your pictures may be to upload to the album at the top of the page or upload them to something like flickr and share the link here |

Hello and welcome.
I use imageshack . Upload photos to there then you can copy the direct link and paste it between two of the image tabs above the box when you are posting....like this

Then you can preview and your picture will appear in your post...
The avatar does need to be resised as said above.
Have a go, once you get the hang of it you will be posting to your hearts content and we would all love to see Olly. _________________ Carol and Daisy X |

Hi and welcome to the forum. The easiest way is to use a picture cloud based host as people have said. I use photobucket.
http://beta.photobucket.com/images/uk/
Like most picture hosting sites it has links to fliker facebook etc etc. It has quite a large editing suite, where you can resize your pictures but still keep a copy the original size. |

Hello and welcome.
I always use Photobucket, its not straghtforward at first, but tinker around a bit.
It works. |
