Hi we have had our rescue dally for 2 weeks now from Birmingham dogs home and she is fantastic. 3 years ish old and so loving.only seen one other dally out around Walsall anymore out there?
Her only fault is she's can be aggressive to other dogs when she's on the lead but will work on that with lessons after kennel cough has cleared up.
So, so far so good what a great loving breed. |

We are in Lichfield not far away at all we have 3 Dalmatians and my Mom lives in Brownhills and she has an eight year old girl. The Secretary of the British Dalmatian Club lives in Lichfield too so we have quite a few spotty links near you.
Good luck with her where are you taking her to training? I can certainly recommend South Staffs Dog training and can give you contact details if you would like them.
Enjoy her. _________________ www.dalmatianwelfare.co.uk

Yes we will be taking her to south staffs training.Have you used them they seem to be very good from what we have read. Its only the on lead aggression that we need to sort.I think she would be fine off lead playing but not taking chance until she has been to a few lessons to get her used to other dogs,i don't think she was socialised that much by who had her before.
The funny thing is when the handler in the dogs home had indie on the lead she showed no aggression to any of the dogs when tested when we took her back to be checked, maybe she is protecting me?? other than this she is amazing and we feel very lucky.
Another thing does anyone use coats for dally's in the cold weather if so which make as there are loads out there.
Thanks for all your kind comments on indie. |
