Hiya! Im new here, just discovered the website after doing a google search for dal clubs.
A little bit about me:
Well im 17 years old, female and am currently doing my A levels at sixth form college. I live in yorkshire with my small army of pets, which include 2 dogs, seven rabbits and 2 guinea pigs. Im a quiet sort of person, not your typical teen i guess, my hobbies include collecting model horses called julips, cleaning, cooking, walking and training my dogs and going to companion dog shows.
A bit about my dogs:
I have 2 dogs; a 8 year old lab x collie called Sally, and a liver spotted dal called Shanzi. Since this is the dal club ill just talk bout Shanzi.
Shanzi is 3 years old, and a rescue dog. Shes had a bad life, passing from home to home, until last year her owner had to go into prison and she desperatly needed someone to adopt her! So my pooor long suffering father agreed to take her in. All the changing homes has had a bad toll on her, shes a bit of a nut case and screamed constantly for the first 6 months we had her. However., lots and lots and lots of training and TLC later and shes starting to blossom into a lovely dog! She's very very clever and is showing a real talent for agility. Shanzi has almost every fault in the kc description so is just a pet doggy. She has incomplete pigmentation round her eyes, is way too big, her tail has been docked to half way down, she has one blue eye and one brown, and has quite a nervous temperement. I doubt she has papers but if she has we havnt got them.
eeek ive talked more about the pooch than about me lol, never mind eh |

Hi Skye and welcome - great to see another rescue dog has found a good home and even though it's taken time she is responding to you and showing promise in agility - we are all really good at something and that's not often being the best looking.
Good luck
