Now I have found this wonderful Website here I want to post a little memory cloud for each of my beautiful two late Welfare - passed onto kennel heaven Dallies.

To 'Little Jenni' -
You were the starlight of my eyes, your little eyes lit up and smiled for all friends that passed though my door. After all these years gone, I can still hear your voice in my mind's eye. You passed me by like a ship setting sail to a better place on July 1996
I thank Nina Byles of Damatian Welfare for bringing her into my life.

To my lovely pal and hero 'Mr Loxley'.
You too came into my life through Nina and started life with me as my foster baby!

Time went on and your previous owner felt it best you were allowed to stay by my side.
You gave me so much happiness , and became my unofficial hearing dog... no training given but you had that innate knowledge to become my ears.

You always yowled when the phone rang, and many times 'collected' me by my sleeve cuff from the garden if someone rang the door bell. I smile warmly at that memory now ...

Then one night , a my immersion heater was about to blow up, smoke and steam dangerously filled my house whilst I was sleeping. You rattled on the stair gate violently to get me to wake up- I did not hear you but the lights on my alerter jolted me in time.

I am alive today Mr Loxley, my hero, because of your action.

You passed away silently and peacefully in the night on September 26 2008. When I found you in the morning, I wrapped your body and placed the last yellow dew blessed Rose from my garden upon you and stroked you .
I felt so empty now.

I said goodbye, but you are still in my heart. I am still carrying you my sweet boy.

Goodnight my lovely Dallies,
Sleep.

Noreen and Sasha

Thank you Gillieworm for your very kind words.

Part of the healing for me my loved ones was the arrival of 'Sasha' via the wonderful Dalmatian Welfare people.

I can now be rested knowing that Jenni and Mr Loxley are chasing bunniwunnies in kennel heaven and watching me and Sasha learna all about each other.

All very best to you,
Give a big hug to your lovely Dallywags too!

All the best to you Sasha.

Your words are so lovely and I, like gillieworm, had tears in my eyes reading them.

We love our dals in fact all of our animals so much. I wish they could live forever. And they do, in our hearts and memories.

What special dogs Dalmatians are! (I know we are all biased)
You should gain some comfort from the fact you "saved" your two companions too! It was a mutual thing.

I have tears reading your lovely words and having lost my "special" Beth in December I can empathise with you.

We have two other Dalmatians one of whom is a handful and she demands lots of love and attention!!! I believe this has helped us with our loss.
Regards
